Cougar Tip off

Go Cougs! We are so looking forward to another great basketball season! We have our favorites from last year and have our eyes on a few returning players as well. The kids love going to the games and can't wait for cougar tails with Dad! Each year the kids pick a player to follow. They record their stats throughout the season. Emily and lucy were more interested in finding their dance teacher with the cougarettes :)
Emily showing off her new ball to get signed.
Tyler can always find a way to make it on the jumbo tron!
This kids got moves!
Josh with his player Josh Sharp.
Ryan and Brock have a little joke every year with the poster signing. I'm just glad Brock is easy going :)
Tyler with our local favorite Tyler Haws.
And since they are all so original in their picks, Nate chose (any guesses?) ...Nate Austin.
The creamery was packed and sold out of cougartails so we stopped by Krispie Kreme on the way out. Their Pumpkin Spice is delish, but really we will eat any of them!
I just loved his face when we opened the box.
We're with you josh, thumbs up on a super FUN night!

Apple Picking!

So many apples this year! I miss the days of making apple cider, but i'll tell you what fresh apples from the trees can not be beat. We have so much fun with our cousins and I love that they are all great workers. Sauced, crisped or carmeled- We love them apples!

Harvest Fun!

My kids love going to Grandma and Grandpa's House to pick apples, or rather climb the apple trees. I love gathering everything out of our gardens and making yummy dinners. We have had so many tomatoes at our house and thankfully we have been able to keep up with most of it. We canned a couple of batches of salsa this year, which will hopefully taste good in the winter, cause after having FRESH salsa every day its hard to switch to canned. Its a bit embarrassing how many bag of tortilla chips we go through a day! The grocery store basics now are eggs, milk and chips! Our second favorite thing from Grandma and Grandpa's house is fresh grape juice! We savor every bottle! I love the smell of the house as its juicing and enjoying the first bottle-delicious!
