Cougar Tip off

 Go Cougs! We are so looking forward to another great basketball season! We have our favorites from last year and have our eyes on a few returning players as well. The kids love going to the games and can't wait for cougar tails with Dad! Each year the kids pick a player to follow. They record their stats throughout the season. Emily and lucy were more interested in finding their dance teacher with the cougarettes :)

 The creamery was packed and sold out of cougartails so we stopped by Krispie Kreme on the way out. Their Pumpkin Spice is delish, but really we will eat any of them!

Cougar tip off

Once again its finally time for Cougar Basketball! This year we are excited to see what our new team can bring to the court! Thankfully for the NBA lockout we have been fortunate to have Jimmer at practice helping our boys on there way! Every year we go down for the Tip off to sign our basketballs and pick the player we will follow for the year. Then when the kids go to the games with dad, they have to follow the stats and practice some math skills on their player! Its pretty fun.

This year Tyler picked Demarcus Harrison. He will be our shooting guard this year. When we were up close to the players, Tyler couldn't tell who was who and was embarrassed when he "posed" with the wrong black player :) He had a 50/50 chance! We got the right pic here.

Ryan is excited to see this kid in action. He's picked Matt Carlino who is the next... Matt Carlino-if ya know what I mean.

Josh had no problem picking his player this year. He picked Josh Sharp, who was flattered to find out that he had been "picked" until he found out they shared the same name. Then realized it probably had nothing to do with his skills!

Josh's alternate player is Stephen Rogers-who will be so fun to watch and Noah Hartsock who will also be fun to follow. Tyler loved joking with these three and is excited to watch the team this year! Go Cougs!

What a great year! We are so excited for next season!

I am more excited to have my husband back, to have the Jimmer jokes done, and some money to put toward the basement and not to Houston and the Final Four!

Viva Las Vegas!

We spent the weekend in sunny Vegas with the family for a little relaxation, sightseeing...

oh yeah, and BYU basketball!

We didn't have time to pose with Jimmer, so we found these cute girls instead!

It wasn't all Basketball. We managed to squeeze in some time at the pool...


Checked out the Shark Aquarium at Mandalay Bay...

Performed with the clowns at Circus Circus...

Watched the dolphins, lions, tigers and leopards at the Mirage...

Overate at the buffets. Especially the frozen custard and cotton candy!

Watched the fountains at the Belagio. Loved the tulips and Butterfly exhibit...

And spent a little quiet time with my honey...
