A determined little boy

On Christmas, Josh was so excited to show off his first wiggly tooth. He has been saying its wiggly since the first day of Kindergarten! You see, Tyler lost his first tooth the first week of Kindergarten and Josh felt he needed to as well.

Everyone congratulated Josh at the Christmas party on his "wiggly tooth"- Which one? we would all ask and nod our head like we knew what he was talking about.

I prepared Josh that it might be a couple of weeks longer before it actually came out because it really wasn't ready to come out. And Josh just nodded his head like I knew what I was talking about.

After lunch Josh came running in, It's loose! It's loose! And showed me this beauty! I had a little pit in my stomach because indeed now it WAS wiggly and twisted awkward, but still not ready to come out and I knew we were now in for a long couple of days!
But Josh wiggled and wiggled and twisted and pulled and after an entire roll of toilet paper, a soggy shirt front, and one raisened finger SUCCESS!

And then mom cried, because this means Josh is getting older, and growing up too fast.
