Tyler received the Fifth grade Falcon Award this year and we were so proud! In order to receive the award they have to memorize all of the Presidents of the United States in order, be able to fill in all of the states and oceans on a map, memorize the preamble to the Constitution, Sing the National anthem in front of their class (acapela style) and memorize the entire Gettysburg address!!! Are you kidding me? All of them had to be PERFECT. No exceptions. Tyler did awesome. Way to go bud!
Emily received the first grade falcon award this year. Only a few kids in her class earned the award so we were extra proud that Emily tried hard to get it. She was able to memorize 5 class poems and songs, write all numbers to 100, participate in the Reflections, be respectful in class, and publish a story in writers workshop. Way to go em!
