The Nutcracker Ballet

I love this tradition of going to the Nutcracker with these sweet girls. It is one of my favorite memories of the Christmas season. Emily looks forward to our little girls night, getting all dressed up for the big ballet. I love that she is remembering the story. This year she sat through nearly the entire show without wondering if it was almost over :) I giggle a little watching them laugh at the men ballerinas and the conductor of the orchestra shaking his hair while he leads the music. This year Emily picked out a little nutcracker as a souvenir to go with her sugar plum fairies from the previous years. She may look forward to this tradition more then the actual ballet. Its a girls night I will always love!
